We have been serving families and businesses in Lakewood, Ohio 
and the surrounding area since 1914!


When Lakewood Furnace Co was founded in 1914 only 10% of homes in the United States had telephones (some of you still may refer to these as "land lines") and less than 1% had cars. Did you know that only about five in 1000 companies stay in business for over 100 years? That is less than one-half percent! We have been the heating and air conditioning go-to company on Cleveland's West Side and beyond for 110 years and counting! Willis Carrier invented modern air conditioning in 1902, but in 1955 only 2% of homes had air conditioning. "Furnace" is in our name, because heating and COOLING didn't exist when we started. However, we are very proud of having put the first air conditioner in Lakewood in 1940! 

We've gone from delivering coal furnaces by horse and wagon to dispatching a fleet of motor vehicles via mobile devices and delivering highly technical heating and cooling machines!
